Menicon Progent is a simple, easy to use, protein remover, disinfectant and intensive cleaner compatible with all rigid contact lenses. Each 30 minute soak is effective against all the organisms likely to contaminate lenses, including bacteria, moulds, yeasts, viruses and Ancanthamoeba trophozoites and cysts, in addition to removing protein deposits from the surface of your lens.
It is designed as an additional treatment to daily Menicare Plus cleaning. We liken Progent to the weekly cycle in the “dishwasher” in addition to the daily “handwash” you give your rigid lenses with Menicare Plus solution after each wear. By adding this strong and rapid disinfection “turbo clean” into your weekly regime, you can expect improved comfort from your sparkly clean rigid lenses.
We warn all patients to please remove your plush new bath towels, and your favourite clothes as Progent can stain fabrics, and please avoid contact with skin, hands, face and definitely your eyes!
