ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Suitable Candidates For The Clinical Trial:
- Ethnic group: non–East Asian ethnic groups
- Aged 6 to 40 years old (inclusive)
- Shortsightedness between −0.50D to −6.00D
- Astigmatism less than 1.5D
- Motivated to swap glasses for overnight lenses
- Able to attend 9 visits over 12 months at Custom Eyecare

The MCOK-01 is a next-generation Ortho-K lens made from the most breathable material available. This trial evaluates its safety and effectiveness, conducted by experienced optometrists at Custom Eyecare.
What is Ortho-K?
Orthokeratology (Ortho-K) uses specially designed lenses worn only at night to gently reshape the cornea. By morning, the lenses are removed, and your child can see clearly all day without glasses or daytime contacts—all while helping to slow down the progression of myopia.

Your Trial Journey
Screening (Day 0) – Full eye exam, health history review & eligibility confirmation.
Lens Fitting (Day 1) – Custom MCOK-01 lenses fitted and prescribed at no charge.
First Check-in (Week 1) – Initial comfort check and vision assessment.
Progress Review (2 Weeks) – Corneal mapping and lens fit reviewed.
1-Month Review – Vision progress measured. Lenses adjusted if needed.
3-Month Review – Mid-point safety and effectiveness check.
6-Month Assessment – Comprehensive mid-study evaluation with corneal imaging.
9-Month Review – Continued monitoring of myopia progression.
Final Assessment (Month 12) – Full study completion review and outcome summary.
